Well-built and heavenly to sit in

Date:January 30, 2014
"I'm very pleasantly pleased with how solidly this recliner is built. It looks great, makes a significant statement just by sitting in our living room, and is extremely comfortable in all three of it's positions. Although it is well-cushioned, my wife and I love the fact the two back cushions can be accessed to add or subtract stuffing so there is flexibility about how firm or soft we want the support to be. Great chair!"

Why did we wait so long to buy one?

Date:April 26, 2013
"I hesitated to buy a recliner because they seemed so "old". But after relaxing on an old, bulky recliner at a friends, we decided to take the plunge. We chose the Tartleton, because it is so stylish, and doesn't really look like a recliner. It is very, very comfortable. We purchased two. We have had them a year. There was a problem with late delivery. We were promised 6 weeks, and it took 10."

Best Customer Service!

Date:May 31, 2009
"I'm a loyal customer to LaZboy. I had purchased a leather recliner with the care warranty. When my husband wore a hole in the leather arm, they came to fix as per the warranty. Everyone was very nice and professional, but, we had a few mix ups with the repair effort--wasn't a problem we were worried about. So, when they called to say, we had been through enough to fix this chair and were giving us a new chair--I was quite surprised. We went into our local store, ordered a new replacement chair and my husband is happily asleep there now. The Tarleton is incredibly comfortable and beautiful. I would purchase other products from LaZboy without hesitation. A great company."

Nice chair, but...

Date:November 27, 2012
"We really like the style of this chair. It looks very nice; however, the leather scratches so easily. We are disappointed in the scratching because we hoped this chair would last and look nice for years and years. The comfort is wonderful and the style is timeless. We've owned the chair for about 7months."

"My husband and I purchased 2 of these chairs in 2010 and immediately had problems. The first two that were delivered had the leather worn off. The second two delivered the leather wore off in less that a year and we were sent a new back and foot rest. Three years later the leather has worn off on the seats and the policy we purchased through LazBoy said they don't honor manufacturers defects. We called LazyBoy and sent pictures per their request. LazBoy service told us that since the chairs are now three years old they couldn't do anything for us. I don't understand how chairs that cost over $1000/each and only used by two older adults can wear so poorly, especially since LazBoy said these were their best leather. I will never buy through LazBoy again. What junk and terrible customer service! They certainly don't back their products. I have uploaded just one of many pictures of these awful chairs."
