"The style of this chair is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Not too big! Not too small! You wouldn't even know it was a recliner by looking at it which I LOVE! It's great because you don't have to have an ottoman which takes up space and can make your family room look crowded. My only complaint would be the piping on the front of the chair is slightly crooked. I was very disappointed that La-z-Boy offered a 2 for 1 sale a couple of months after we had already purchased our chair! I would have gotten 2 chairs to balance the other side of our fireplace!"

Not what I expected

"I've had this chair for one year. I loved the look of it and paid for a more expensive fabric because I wanted it to last but I've already had to have someone re-stuff the seat cushion and the fabric (D824609) is pilling and snagging. It's not as comfortable as I had hoped. The other two pieces of furniture we bought with it are very nice and we are happy with them. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't buy this chair."

Love Our Chairs!

"Bought two of these chairs in the Bayberry-Glacier. Looks awesome with our dark brown leather sectional. Very comfortable and most people don't realize it's a recliner until we tell them. We've had these chairs for about 5 months now and still look, feel, and smell new. We also purchased the fabric protector and so far so good with 4 kids in the house! Very happy with purchase!"

"Purchased the Riley recliner in the spring and thoroughly enjoying it. It is very comfortable and have received many compliments on it. We were surprised and happy to realize that the bottom cushion was removable too. Great idea!"

"Purchased two of these chairs for my home office.Comfortable for reading or watching TV. I'm tall, and do like to recline in it, but find I need a throw pillow behind my head to be really comfortable. My teens love these chairs and are constantly curled up in them watching TV or napping."

"Purchased with leather covering. Very comfortable, although does not stay all the way back without keeping your arms above your head. When in the reclined position upholstery staples show on the side. Overall, very satisfied."

"I never wanted a recliner because most are so bulky and have little style. My husband wanted a comfortable recliner to relax in. What a compromise we found! This recliner is comfortable and doesn't look like a recliner. Now we fight over who gets to sit in it. The fabric we chose was retro enough to meet my taste and is extremely durable a must in a house with three small children and dogs."

beauty and comfort in one great chair

"I needed chairs that would look good but would still be comfortable and perfect to lounge in. We purchased two of the Riley chairs in a beautiful formal fabric that really made our living room look great. My husband just had 2 hips replaced and he found himself sleeping in this chair. Very comfortable and looks great too."

"This is a great recliner that look like a chair. It is very modern and updated, not like the old fashin recliners. I actually bought 2 of these with a new leather living room set. I LOVE them. I picked my own fabric for them, so that also was a huge plus. I would buy them again.

"I bought 2 of these chairs 6 years ago in a beige leather along with a red leather couch. They still look brand new - no marks on the leather at all! No one can believe they are recliners and they are so comfortable. I saw the whole set up in the show room and knew I had to have them! You truly do get what you pay for - they have held up beautifully with everyday use."

"I liked this chair the first time I saw it. The hard part was picking out the fabric. Took 8 weeks to come in ( which was fine with me as we were putting new floors and paint everywhere). I purchased two of these. They are very comfortable and make my back feel better...The only thing that would make this chair better is if they made the sides a bit more solid like they do on the couches."

"The material on this chair "pills". I emailed La-z-boy about this and was told it is normal and I could shave the chair and eventually the pilling would stop. I paid too much for this chair to have the material be low quality. I also don't have a single item that quits "pilling" after shaving."

Just what we were looking for

"I searched for a long time to find a set of recliners that didn't look like the typical "grandma" recliner. We covered these in a charcoal, textural fabric and sit in them every night after a long day. Am still happy with the purchase although they are showing some wear in certain often touched areas. They take up a lot of space but we can fit a small child with us in the seat so they are great for reading books."
